The entire staff was very cordial and enthusiastic but Alex in particular resolved my main issue with my laptop. This forced update is a total dud.I talked to a local GURU about this, and he has been swamped with similar complaints. After contacting Microsoft tech support, I was variously told it was a Cannon printer problem, It was an AOL Tech Fortress problem, and was referred back to these other tech help centers. It was all a rediculous waste of time and effort. After several hours (7) on the phone trying to repair, a very knowledgable tech person from AOL discovered it was MERELY a formatting problem. The attachment was sent in a different format. YOU SHOULD IMMEDIATELY REMOVE THE POPUP DIRECTING USERS TO PURCHASe AN UNNECESSARY UPGRADE. I installed a different monitor today and when I turned it on, my entire desktop was completely different! What the heck happened? At first I thought I had lost all the info. I had a desktop shortcut for. I don't know what happened but I ABSOLUTELY HATE THE CHANGES! Even Microsoft Edge is different…and Edge has NEVER been my favorite browser. The changes are a real P.I.T.A.! If I could change it back to the way it was yesterday ( 10/4/2019), I DEFINITELY would. She was very knowledgeable about your products and was a great consultant. She walked me through the process and I was out the door in less than 20 minutes. I appreciated that she made no judgements, answered my questions, helped me with my purchase, and was polite and personable. Thank you. You get the picture, I don't make a purchase lightly, I research extensively to make sure I know exactly what I'm getting. Unfortunately, there is no Microsoft Store near me. I live San Benito, Texas, the only store near me is San Antonio, over three hours away.

I happened to be going to Austin, Texas on business and decided to shop. Prior to this, I applied for the Dell Financing Program and was approved.

I went to the Microsoft Store, which was about 20 minutes from where I was staying. I went in and Ana, the sales associate greeted me at the door. Although I knew what I was looking for, I had not seen the actual device yet. Ana was very helpful. She was very knowledgeable about your products and was a great consultant. She walked me through the process and I was out the door in less than 20 minutes. I appreciated that she made no judgements, answered my questions, helped me with my purchase, and was polite and personable. Thank you.

I have at times left other stores (not Microsoft Stores) because of rude, disinterested, or prejudiced sales associates who are not interested in my questions because of preconceived notions they have as I walk through the door. I had spent Days trying to get my Iphone contacts to sync with my Outlook. After spending 2 hours at the Apple store they sent me over to the Microsoft store in the mall in Tulsa, OK. There I met Tyler and told him what my problems were. He went through at least a half dozen different processes to try and get it to work. He never got frustrated or gave up and after about an hour came up with a solution.
